Therapies

The therapeutic use of oxygen.

Medical grade ozone, used to improve how tissue takes up and uses oxygen, to support immune function, and to assist detoxification.

Ozone is a reactive form of oxygen. Used in controlled medical doses it creates a measured oxidative stimulus, which is being studied for its ability to activate the body's own antioxidant defences, modulate inflammatory pathways and support microcirculation.

Route, dose and frequency are chosen per person. Your medical history and current medication genuinely matter here, and the consultation covers both before a course begins.

How it is used

Major autohemotherapy

The principal systemic route. A quantity of your own blood is treated with ozone and returned to you, which is why the therapy is described as working with your own biology rather than introducing a drug.

  • Systemic effect
  • Carried out under medical supervision
  • Course length set at consultation

Ozone steam sauna

Warm steam opens the pores and allows ozone to pass through the skin and reach the bloodstream, fat and lymphatic tissue. It is the gentlest route the clinic offers and the easiest place to start.

  • Circulation and skin quality
  • Muscle recovery after training
  • Supports a detoxification programme

Typical course Sessions of around 20 minutes, 2 to 3 times per week during a course.

Local and targeted application

Directed at a joint, a disc or an area of inflammation rather than at the whole system, often alongside the regenerative preparations.

  • Joint and disc work
  • Combined with other therapies
  • Assessed per area

What ozone is used to support

These are the areas the clinic consults on. Whether ozone is appropriate for your situation is decided individually, and it is used alongside conventional care rather than in place of it.

Immune function and recurrent infection

Immune support, including for people who find infections recur, and for recovery after prolonged viral illness.

  • Immune resilience
  • Post-viral fatigue and recovery
  • Assessed individually

Inflammatory and autoimmune conditions

Support for inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and inflammatory bowel disease, directed at inflammation and fatigue.

  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Alongside your rheumatologist or gastroenterologist

Typical course Typically 10 sessions, then maintenance every 2 to 3 months.

Detoxification and oxidative stress

Part of a structured detoxification programme, supporting liver and kidney function and reducing oxidative load.

  • Structured programme, not a single session
  • Often with the sauna
  • Reviewed across the course

Circulation, recovery and pain

Oxygen delivery, circulation and tissue recovery, used for joint pain, athletic recovery and slow healing.

  • Microcirculation and oxygen use
  • Muscle and tissue recovery
  • Combined with regenerative work

Oncology supportive care

Used only as support alongside conventional oncology treatment, directed at tolerance of treatment, fatigue and recovery, and only with your oncologist's agreement.

  • Supportive care only
  • Requires oncologist agreement
  • Never a substitute for oncology treatment

Cormedicine does not offer or claim any ozone treatment that treats or cures cancer.
