The science

What the evidence actually supports.

Regenerative medicine is a fast moving field, and parts of it are better established than others. This page is where Cormedicine sets out which is which.

Regenerative therapy works by stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms using cells, growth factors and other bioactive molecules. The mechanisms are well described. The strength of clinical evidence varies considerably by indication, and being clear about that is part of practising responsibly.

Dr. Nada Alaaeddine has spent more than twenty years in this field, with published research in stem cell biology, secretome science and their applications in cartilage repair, skin regeneration and hair.

How it works

The mechanisms.

Cell therapy

Live cells placed into damaged tissue, where they support repair directly and release regenerative signals.

Secretome

The growth factors, cytokines and exosomes stem cells release. A regenerative effect without transplanting cells.

Biological Activators

Concentrated and activated from your own blood, carrying a richer regenerative profile than standard PRP.

Medical ozone

A controlled oxidative stimulus, studied for antioxidant activation, immune modulation and microcirculation.

Longevity infusions

Compounds studied for mitochondrial function, DNA repair and markers of cellular aging.

Evidence

Where the evidence stands.

Being specific about this is the point of the page.

Secretome in skin and wound healing

Active research area with a growing body of work.

Studied for collagen and elastin stimulation, wound healing and skin regeneration. This is among the better supported aesthetic applications and is close to Dr. Alaaeddine's own published work.

Cartilage and osteoarthritis

Promising, with important limits.

Studied for pain and function in osteoarthritic joints. Results vary between people. Cormedicine does not claim that cartilage is regrown, because that is not established.

Hair and follicular regeneration

Active research area.

Studied for follicle reactivation, scalp microcirculation and reduced shedding in androgenetic hair loss. One of Dr. Alaaeddine's research interests.

Medical ozone

Studied, with variable evidence by indication.

Best supported for oxygen utilisation, inflammatory modulation and circulation. Evidence differs substantially across the conditions ozone is used for, and the clinic will say which is which.

Neurological and metabolic applications

Early. Treated conservatively.

Mechanistically plausible and under active investigation, but clinical evidence is early. These are offered as carefully assessed, individually considered cases, never as established treatment.

References

A full reference list, including Dr. Alaaeddine's own publications and the specific studies behind each therapy, is being compiled for this page. Cormedicine would rather publish nothing than publish a citation it has not verified.

Nothing on this website is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of a result. Suitability, risks and realistic expectations are assessed individually in consultation. Regenerative therapies are used alongside conventional medical care, not in place of it.

Ask what the evidence says for you

A consultation covers what is established for your condition, what is still being studied, and what the clinic will not claim.
