Skin care at Cormedicine spans the regenerative therapies, the machine based treatments and the injectables. They are not alternatives so much as different tools, and most plans use more than one.

Which one suits you depends on what is actually happening in the tissue. That is a consultation question, not a menu choice.

Regenerative treatment for skin

Stem cell therapy, Biological Activators and secretome applied to the face, neck, hands and knees. The science behind them is set out in full under Stem Cells & Secretome.

Stem cell therapy and secretome

Collagen, elastin and hydration stimulated at the cellular level, so volume and skin quality are rebuilt by the tissue itself rather than filled. Also used on scars, acne scarring and skin injury.

  • Face, neck, hands and knees
  • Scars and skin injury
  • Prevention as well as correction

Biological Activators

Prepared from your own blood, concentrated and activated. A far richer blend of regenerative molecules than a standard PRP preparation, used for early skin aging, fine lines and healing after a procedure.

  • Early skin aging and fine lines
  • Collagen support after a procedure
  • Combines well with microneedling

Machine based treatment

Radiofrequency, non-surgical facelifting

Deep tissue heating that remodels and firms over time, used on face, neck and body for laxity and contour.

  • Jawline and eye area
  • Neck and body laxity
  • Progressive rather than immediate

Typical course 4 to 6 sessions, then maintenance every 6 months.

Microneedling

Controlled micro-injury that triggers the skin's own repair, improving scarring, texture, pore size and fine lines. It is often combined with Biological Activators, which strengthens the response.

  • Acne scars and stretch marks
  • Texture, pores and fine lines
  • Often combined with Biological Activators

Typical course 3 to 5 sessions, 4 weeks apart.

Microneedling RF

Microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered through the needles, so the heating reaches deeper than needling alone. Used where laxity is the concern as well as texture.

  • Laxity as well as texture
  • Deeper remodelling than needling alone
  • Jawline, neck and acne scarring

Typical course 3 to 4 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Light therapy, LED and IPL

Targeted light for inflammation, pigment and sun damage, and for the bacteria involved in acne.

  • Acne, rosacea and inflammation
  • Dark spots and sun damage
  • Tone and clarity

Typical course A short course, then ongoing maintenance.

Manual facial treatment

Lymphatic drainage and facial massage for puffiness, fluid retention and tension, and for circulation to the skin.

  • Puffiness and fluid retention
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Tension in face, neck and decolletage

Typical course Weekly or monthly.

Injectables

An injectable treatment being mapped out at Cormedicine
Injection points mapped before treatment.

Botox

Relaxes the muscle movement that drives expression lines, softening what is there and slowing what is forming. Also used to lift the brow, define the jawline and slim the lower face.

  • Underarms
  • Face
  • Jaw and jawline
  • Neck
  • Hands
  • Feet
  • The area and the effect you want
  • Dosage, suitability and alternatives
  • What repeat treatment involves

Typical course Every 3 to 6 months.

Dermal fillers

Restores volume that has moved or been lost, smooths deeper lines and rebuilds facial contour. Placement is planned so that natural expression is preserved.

  • Cheeks, lips, contour and deeper lines
  • Product choice and placement
  • What happens if you want it reversed

Typical course Lasts 6 to 18 months depending on the product.

Biostimulators

These stimulate your own collagen, so the change develops gradually and holds longer than a filler does. Used for sagging, hollowing, deep lines and uneven texture.

  • Gradual, progressive change
  • Lifting without surgery
  • Stretch marks, scars and texture

Typical course 1 to 3 sessions. Effects last 2 to 5 years.
